Kayaking, Iguazu River — 15 Photos
This small kayaking trip was not planned but fit in perfectly with the complete nothingness I had going on. I needed to visit the Argentinian side of Iguazu. (Iguazu is a border city of Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay.) I found the Brazilian Consulate in Iguazu and directly to the right side was a hostel called Mango Tree. Outside the front was a young man named Manuel San Martin, he actually runs the hostel and speaks several languages. He has helped many travelers obtain their Visas. I needed his help and help he did! Feb. 20th is a holiday and the consulate was closed for the day. This meant I had time for a small adventure while the sun was still shining. While planning the next few days and handling business via the wireless connection on my iPhone a kayak instructor named Gustavo (fb.com/gustavoadrian.rios.5) was taking a few others to kayak down the Iguazu River. I announced excitedly, can I join? The rest is history.
